[RESOLVED] why no "Scale" property for shape binder?

my FC version:

Version: 0.21.0.33492 (Git)

I have a “sub object shape binder” made from a combination of Paths. It has Position properties so I can move it, but no scale properties. Everything I can find on Google says that you just need to clone the binder, then you can scale it.

So I went ahead and cloned it, but the body that results from the clone operation also has no scale properties. Banging my head on wall!

FML, I figured out how to make it work.

How do you clone something? Just click the Sheep, its clever and easy to remember, right?

but the goddam Orange sheep

is not the same as the goddom blue sheep!

TLDR: change WB to Draft. This changes sheep icon from orange to blue. now it will work. smh…

Yeah, the similarity of those two tools can be really confusing (what’s more, PD Clone is also similar to Link and then there’s ShapeBinder and SubShapeBinder…). This wiki article mentions some differences between the two “sheep”: PartDesign Clone.
