Here’s a preview of how I intend to change the PD hole dialog so that it is more compact and organized, thoughts? It’s noticeable less wide but only marginally taller, AFAICT no functionality is lost. There is one less checkbox (custom values in the hole cut section) but I did not find any configuration in which that one is enabled in the current dialog so I wan to remove it.

Looks great, thank you!
next iteration is now also shorter than current dialog:

I would like to get feedback on if the organization of the parameters make sense, are they where they should be taking into account what each do and what they are related too? Are the left hand and right hand radio buttons only relevant when model thread is enabled?

Better do not remove it.
Choose a Profile, activate Thread, select a size larger than M1 (M10 works)a, and finally select aHole cut type - and now the checkbox is active:

But in the end I like your redesign.
adrianinsaval, great improvement! Smaller and clearer.
Thanks, I’m keeping it then.
I’m also thinking of hiding some elements when they aren’t relevant. Thoughts on this? For example the options related to thread modelling could disappear when model thread is not enabled. The “take depth into account” checkbox could disappear when drill point is flat. The “custom values” checkbox could disappear when it isn’t relevant.
It would be worth the effort if and only if on small screens vertical scrolling can be avoided and would occur otherwise.
Good idea. And don’t forget to give a hint for those looking for missing/hidden settings.
+1 looks much cleaner in your draft.
+1 about hidding elements instead of disabling them. This makes the taskbox easier to discover.
+1. Really nice and clean design.
