Two days ago there was a large import of translations on the Crowdin platform.
First of all, it included new strings from preference tabs.

I learned that not all options will be retained. Therefore, it is worth waiting a while until the situation is clarified. Otherwise, a lot of work will go to waste.
Let it remain in the choice of each translator.
I have asked our maintainer to clarify the situation and get more detailed information.

Thanks, kaktus – I don’t think it will take too long, there has already been some discussion in this area by paddle and wmayer in GitHub Issue 11004. It just remains for someone to have time to implement the suggested changes. I would certainly de-prioritize translating the strings from that section of the preferences dialog: some of them will be retained as they are now, some will be re-worded, and I expect some to be removed entirely.
I’ll also show you how to identify these strings in the Crowdin editor.

These strings come from the FreeCAD.ts file.
An additional clue is the “./PreferencePages/DlgSettings…” information.
