[bug]freecad v 0.17 windows 10 release coppy of freecad when putting a value in fem material new more 0s appear after tabbing to the next field. Gui bug or operator error?

You should also probably be using 0.18dev if you want to benefit from a more up to date FEM work bench. Please read the guidelines on how to properly post asking for help for the devs to help you.

- would you try in 0.18 dev?
- would you be more specific … which gui fild? Did you use a new file or an example or whatever? just write down any step starting with start FreeCAD

will try 0.18 but it is dev
create a cube in part 1”
go to fem workbench
analysys
add material
density I put a decimal point in after 1700. and 3 zeros apeared
youngs model number I set to 3333333. psi
modulus I set to .2
I save the material and it doesn’t record all the numbers maby I have to save it as a different file.
that seemed to hold.
