I can see that the stable repository hasn’t received any updates since version 1.0 was released, and the daily repository stopped getting updates back in August. Has the PPA been permanently abandoned, or is this just a temporary pause?
I’ve asked the question twice on here and had no response. So, it looks like the PPA is dead.
It needs a maintainer: if someone wants to pick it up they’d be welcome to the role.
As far as I remember, sometimes there was activity in ppa, but not for long
There are more reliable alternatives:
The PPA integrated with the rest of the system better - for example the save window matched the system style.
