Hi,
I’m designing a bathroom cabinet to be made out of 3/4" plywood. After getting the shape of the overall vanity right, I sliced it up into objects suitable to be cut from plywood, created an Arch Panel for each of those objects, and aligned the arch panels to be on the same plane as the Arch Panel Sheet I have waiting.
The problem I’m running into is that when I go to create an Arch Panel Cut from each of the Arch Panels, it ignores the rotation & translation alignment I have done on each Arch Panel. It is as if it is only paying attention to the ‘placement’ properties of the object inside the Arch Panel, rather than that of the Arch Panel itself.
My working file is attached. You can see what I mean by looking at the way ‘Right side panel object’ looks versus the way ‘View of Right side panel object’ turns out. What I expect to happen is that the ‘View of Right side panel object’ should look like the profile of ‘Right side panel object’, but it does not.
I’m using FreeCAD 0.19-24267 on Windows 10 x64. Please let me know if I can clarify anything.
