Add angle dimension to hole centres

Thank you for the very detailed steps. You really put a lot of effort and work into your answers!

My problem is with frame #7 and #8. There’s no snapping point. You just place a point at a random position, indicated by the “equal” sign. That might work to satisfactory precision, but I believe this should be fixed in TD. Placing points randomly with the mouse if TD knows the intersection point is, well, not optimal. At least I now know that’s the way to go for the time being until this is fixed.

The 2nd problem is with frame #15. TD consistently references the other angle and places a reference of 130°. No clue how to place the 50° angle. I might try to reproduce that with a simpler drawing and start a new thread (so it gets more visibility).

Thank you so much. I learned a lot with your help.

Hi, try to lengthen the centerline of the hole and try to dimension the corner again, then try to reverse the selection order and the selection point.
Unfortunately TD is very cumbersome (imprecise and unpredictable ie unstable) to use with all these “cosmetic points”.
In this discussion, which you have to read, the developers are shown the way to take to optimize the maximum TD! https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=49719&start=30
Think for a moment if with the current TD we should dimension a complex lattice structure.
