What's new in PartDesign Next

Thanks Ickby. So I will run the PartDesign tutorial first to ensure I know the inside out of the operations of PartDesign, then hopefully I can start looking at this bug from next week.

I am fluent in C++, and also have a working knowledge of Python. Hopefully I can start contributing into this project

Sorry for the delay. I have just finished my studies, and finally now have time to look at the project, and this is what I am doing right now.

I have gone through recent commit logs and issue tracker related to partdesign. I am glad that someone has fixed the bug that ickby initially asked me to do (#2501 the mirror feature).

which of those you think will be a blocker for a future Assembly implementation, and which of those you would recommend me to take as my first bug to fix?

I think you’re putting the cart before the horse. In my opinion, the priority here is to stabilize PartDesign first and make it more usable, because that’s what preventing the 0.17 release.

There may even be more undocumented bugs that thorough testing of PartDesign will reveal.
