@jnxd, @amrit3701, @m42kus, what would you guys think of opening a thread here on the forum, that would act as a kind of blog (basically where you would write a bit of your process, for everybody here to see), or even start a real blog, like @kkremitzki is starting in https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=22285 ?
I think that could create something great around your projects, and get everybody here more involved… Last year that was done to a certain extent on the BRL-CAD site (which requires you guys to do that anyway, I think), but people here on the forum (which is our one and only true home) only received some distant echoes, and didn’t have a chance to get really involved. Plus that would make it easier to spread the word on the FreeCAD social network accounts, etc…
I was thinking of setting up a blog for myself, but I guess it could take some time. A thread should work as a temporary place for the log then, or, since it is the one true somewhat place for freecad, a permanent one.

I think that’s a nice idea. Starting a “blog” on the forum should be no problem, I planned to post regular updates anyway. To spread word about FreeCAD an external blog help a lot I think. Sharing a link to a blog-post would probably be received better than a link to the forum (for people not part of the community that is). Anyway, I never had a blog but maybe this is a good time to start one…
For now I decided that I won’t create a blog. Instead I created a “Activity-Log” topic in which I will post regular updates about my progress and other news. It can be found inside the Fem Sub-Forum (https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=22576).
